Edinburgh is Capital of Scotland… next to Glasgow the second largest city in Scotland, and 7th biggest in UK. In old Scottish language - Scottish Gaelic it sounds like Dùn Èideann – don’t even ask me how to say that hehe..
City have got 32 council government areas… Edinburgh council got 30-square-mile (78 km2) rural area.
The City is located on south east part of Scotland… it’s on the Central Belt coast, next to North Sea
Main architecture trend in Edinburgh is Georgian architecture – for me is one of most beautiful cities in Europe – when it stops raining of course It’s not strange thing that the city attracts 1 million overseas visitors a year, this is the second most visited tourist destination in the UK, of course after London.
